Did you know that most year one pupils have a phonics screening check, in year 1, to test their phonic knowledge? The children are asked to read a selection of forty words. Twenty of these words will be real and twenty will be made up ‘alien’ words. You can help prepare your children and pupils for this check by exposing them to lots of fun activities. My children have already given this the thumbs up 👍 Not for use by children under 3 years old. You will receive everything in the picture.
